Stress decreasing and chest opening pose

I rarely give “stretches” as they don’t change function or neurology as much as movement. But I do love this one – that technically doubles as a stretch AND a great way to decrease stress. When we are in this open pose, we cannot engage the Sympathetic (or Fight or Flight) part of our nervous system as much. I love it for meditation, or simply to change up your patterns in a day.
